Are you an experienced Year 6 Teacher looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and welcoming school environment? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a thriving two-form entry primary school in Wirral. The successful candidate will lead a Year 6 class from January through to October 2026, guiding the class through their SATs preparation and ensure pupils achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Year 6 curriculum.
Prepare pupils thoroughly for SATs, ensuring progress and confidence.
Assess, track, and report on pupil attainment and progress.
Create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the two-form entry structure.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety and welfare of all pupils in line with school policies.
Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and appropriately.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience teaching Year 6.
Strong knowledge of KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their best.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting).
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
