 What you’ll be doing as a TA in Wallasey

• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging, motivating and inclusive lessons across different year groups.

• Encouraging pupils to stay on task, grow in confidence and participate positively in classroom activities.

• Providing 1:1 or small‑group support, helping children make progress academically, socially and emotionally.

• Using positive behaviour strategies to maintain a calm and welcoming learning environment.

• Assisting with classroom organisation, preparing resources, updating displays and supporting daily routines.

• Helping pupils with additional needs feel fully included, ensuring everyone can access learning at their own pace.

• Following safeguarding procedures and keeping pupil wellbeing at the centre of everything you do.

We’re looking for individuals who can bring:

• Strong communication and positive relationship-building skills

• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development

• An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
