This rewarding role is ideal for compassionate, motivated individuals who want to support pupils with Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, communication difficulties, and behavioural needs to thrive in education.

The Role: Learning Support Worker (SEND)

As a Learning Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping pupils feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. Depending on the setting, your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing 1:1 support and small‑group interventions for pupils with SEND

  • Supporting pupils to access learning in line with IEPs, EHCPs and behaviour plans

  • Assisting with differentiated classroom activities tailored to individual needs

  • Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and social development

  • Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams

  • Helping to create a calm, inclusive and nurturing learning environment

  • Adhering to safeguarding procedures and prioritising pupil wellbeing at all times

All applicants must have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check (Update Service preferred).
