TalentBoard is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work in Pensby, providing essential support to pupils with diverse needs. You’ll work within specialist SEND settings, potentially supporting pupils in SEND units within mainstream schools or on a one-to-one basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Offer tailored support to pupils with moderate to complex needs.
Assist in developing and implementing individualised learning strategies.
Support classroom activities that encourage academic and social growth.
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities by promoting the welfare of children and young people, and ensuring all actions align with school policies on child protection and safety.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with SEND pupils is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
Patience and a positive approach to inclusive education.
