Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning? TalentBoard is looking for compassionate and resilient Behaviour Mentors to support pupils across Ellesmere Port and nearby schools, including mainstream and specialist settings.

Whether you're experienced in education or bringing transferable skills from another sector, we’d love to hear from you.

Your Role as a Behaviour Mentor

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with:
• SEMH, ADHD, PDA, ODD, and trauma-related needs
• Deliver targeted interventions (e.g. emotional regulation, anger management)
• Build strong, trusting relationships with students
• Support inclusive classroom practices and positive behaviour strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
• Monitor and report on progress and behavioural development

Who We’re Looking For

• Behaviour Mentors
• Teaching Assistants (paid or voluntary)
• Youth Workers
• Support Workers (SEND or adult care)
• Sports Coaches

Key Skills & Attributes

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy, patience, and emotional resilience
• Confident in behaviour management and de-escalation
• Organised and reliable with good record-keeping
• Understanding of safeguarding (training provided)
