Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers in delivering inclusive, engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.

• Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils with SEND.

• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child feels supported.

• Assist with personal care when required, always ensuring dignity and respect.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support student progress.

• Prepare learning materials and maintain a safe, organised classroom.

• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities by promoting the welfare of children and young people, and ensuring all actions align with school policies on child protection and safety.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience supporting children or adults with SEND in education, care, or community settings—or relevant qualifications.

• Understanding of inclusive education and strategies for supporting diverse learning needs.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting young people.

• A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.

All successful applicants will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check as part of our safeguarding procedures.
