Overview
TalentBoard is looking for a passionate and confident Primary School Teacher to join our team, supporting schools across Liverpool. The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status, be highly motivated, and possess a strong understanding of the curriculum. You will be skilled at planning and delivering engaging lessons while building positive relationships with students and staff alike. Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
Educate students in various subjects, promoting critical thinking and creativity.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative educational environment.
Manage classroom behaviour through positive reinforcement strategies and clear expectations.
Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities by promoting the welfare of children and young people, and ensuring all actions align with school policies on child protection and safety.
Requirements
A degree or PGCE in Primary Education or a related field is essential.
Proven experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students and parents.
Demonstrated ability in behaviour management techniques that promote a positive learning environment.
A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement in teaching practices.
All successful applicants will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check as part of our safeguarding procedures.
