TalentBoard is seeking a confident and dynamic School Cover Supervisor to support teaching and learning in a secondary school setting. This role is vital for ensuring that classes run smoothly in the absence of the regular teacher.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students and ensure a positive learning environment.

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and engage students in their learning.

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.

• Provide feedback to teachers regarding student performance and behaviour.

• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities by promoting the welfare of children and young people, and ensuring all actions align with school policies on child protection and safety.

Qualifications:

• Must be confident in taking control of a class.

• A degree in a specific subject area and specialist knowledge is highly desirable but not essential.

• Previous experience in a supervisory role or within an educational setting is beneficial.
