TalentBoard is seeking a confident and adaptable School Cover Supervisor to work within secondary schools in Liverpool. This role involves taking responsibility for classes during teacher absences, managing student behavior, and ensuring lessons proceed smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes across a range of subjects, following lesson plans provided by teachers.

• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.

• Assist with any administrative or support tasks as directed by the school.

• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities by promoting the welfare of children and young people, and ensuring all actions align with school policies on child protection and safety.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar is ideal.

• A degree or specialist knowledge in a particular subject is advantageous.

• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage with secondary school students effectively.
