We are seeking a confident School Cover Supervisor to work within a secondary school in Rhyl. This role requires excellent classroom management skills, as you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences and ensuring students stay engaged with their learning tasks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the classroom environment in the teacher’s absence.

• Support students by providing guidance on assigned tasks.

• Collaborate with school staff to maintain a positive learning environment.

• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities by promoting the welfare of children and young people, and ensuring all actions align with school policies on child protection and safety.

Qualifications:

• Degree in a relevant subject or specialist knowledge of a particular area is preferred.

• Strong ability to take control of a class and support students effectively.

• Previous experience working in a school environment is an advantage.
