Behaviour Mentor – Support Pupils with SEMH, ADHD & SEND | Flexible Roles Across Wirral
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? TalentBoard is seeking dedicated Behaviour Mentors to join schools across the Wirral, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ADHD, and a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Whether you're experienced in education or come from a background in care, youth work, or mentoring, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions to support emotional regulation and behaviour
Supporting pupils with SEND to engage in learning and build resilience
Implementing positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques
Acting as a trusted adult and role model for vulnerable learners
Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
Promoting inclusive learning environments and smooth classroom transitions
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities by promoting the welfare of children and young people, and ensuring all actions align with school policies on child protection and safety.
We’re Looking For People With Experience In:
Supporting children or young adults with SEMH, ADHD, Autism, or behavioural needs
Teaching Assistant, Youth Work, Care Work, or Sports Coaching
Mentoring, Counselling, or Social Care
Working with adults or children with learning disabilities or mental health needs
