Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? TalentBoard is looking for dedicated Learning Support Workers to join our team and support pupils across the Wirral with a range of needs including autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues, challenging behaviour, and more. Supporting a range of schools we are able to support with both full and [art-time opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND in both mainstream and specialist settings.
Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities by promoting the welfare of children and young people, and ensuring all actions align with school policies on child protection and safety.
Requirements:
Experience working with individuals with SEND (experience outside of education will be considered).
Relevant qualifications (e.g., psychology degree) are highly desirable.
A genuine passion for education and supporting pupils with diverse needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
