Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? TalentBoard is looking for compassionate and resilient Behaviour Mentors to work across schools in the Wirral, helping students overcome behavioural challenges and thrive in inclusive classrooms.
What You’ll Be Doing
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with:
SEMH, ADHD, PDA, ODD, and trauma-related needs
Deliver targeted interventions (e.g. anger management, emotional regulation)
Build strong, trusting relationships with students
Support positive behaviour strategies and inclusive classroom practices
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies
Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities by promoting the welfare of children and young people, and ensuring all actions align with school policies on child protection and safety.

Key Skills & Attributes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Empathy, patience, and emotional resilience
Confident in behaviour management and de-escalation
Organised and reliable with good record-keeping
Understanding of safeguarding (training provided)
