Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? TalentBoard is recruiting Learning Support Workers to work across mainstream and specialist schools in Wirral, helping pupils with diverse needs thrive in education.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference for learners with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, and behavioural difficulties.
Your Role
- Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to pupils with SEND
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Promote independence, emotional resilience, and social development
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, ensuring compliance with child protection policies
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in education, care, youth work, nursing, or coaching
- Qualifications in childcare, psychology, or education are desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting young learners
