TalentBoard is looking for an experienced School Caretaker/Site Manager to ensure the smooth daily operation of a school in Wirral. Ideal candidates will have a background in maintenance, engineering, or trades and be comfortable managing site responsibilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee general upkeep and maintenance of the school premises, including minor repairs and safety checks.

• Manage security, including unlocking/locking the school and maintaining the security of the school grounds.

• Support staff by setting up rooms, ensuring cleanliness, and managing health and safety procedures.

• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities by promoting the welfare of children and young people, and ensuring all actions align with school policies on child protection and safety.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a caretaker or site management role is preferred.

• Candidates from maintenance, engineering, or trade backgrounds will also be considered.
