What You’ll Do:

• Provide tailored classroom support to children with SEND, helping them thrive academically and socially.
• Assist teachers in delivering inclusive, engaging lessons that meet individual learning needs.
• Foster a safe, nurturing environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to track and enhance pupil progress.
• Prepare learning resources and maintain a structured, supportive classroom setting.
• Deliver personal care with dignity and respect when required.
• Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure all practices align with child protection policies.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience with SEND is beneficial, but not essential.
• We welcome applicants from non-education backgrounds such as care work, youth mentoring, or support roles.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting children.
• Knowledge of inclusive education and SEND strategies is a plus.
• Empathetic, patient, and proactive team players.
