£115 - £230 per day

TalentBoard is seeking a dedicated and self-assured Primary School Teacher to join our team, providing support to schools across Chester and the surrounding area. The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status, demonstrate high levels of motivation, and have a solid understanding of the curriculum. You will be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons while fostering positive relationships with both students and staff.

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning: Develop and deliver dynamic lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and address the diverse learning needs of all students.

  • Student Education: Teach various subjects while fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a love for learning.

  • Effective Communication: Build strong relationships by maintaining open communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.

  • Classroom Management: Promote a positive learning environment by using constructive behaviour management techniques and setting clear expectations.

  • Student Assessment: Monitor and evaluate student progress through consistent assessments, providing meaningful feedback to support improvement.

  • Inclusive Learning Environment: Establish a safe and welcoming classroom that motivates students to participate and thrive academically and socially.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with fellow educators and school staff to enrich the overall educational experience.

  • Professional Development: Engage in training opportunities to stay informed on the latest teaching strategies and educational innovations.

  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities: By promoting the welfare of children and young people, and ensuring all actions align with school policies on child protection and safety.

 

Requirements:

  • A degree or PGCE in Primary Education or a related field is essential.

  • Qualified Teacher Status.

  • Proven experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students and parents.

  • Demonstrated ability in behaviour management techniques that promote a positive learning environment.

  • A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement in teaching practices.


All applicants must hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, in line with safeguarding requirements.
