Learning Support Worker – Support Pupils with SEND in Chester Schools
Are you passionate about helping children and young people reach their full potential? TalentBoard is recruiting Learning Support Workers to join mainstream and specialist schools across Chester, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including Autism (ASC), SEMH, and behavioural needs.

Your Role Will Include:
Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
Assisting with the delivery of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, communication, and social skills
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
Encouraging independence and confidence in young learners
Upholding safeguarding responsibilities by promoting the welfare of children and young people, and ensuring all actions align with school policies on child protection and safety.
We Welcome Applicants With Experience In:
Teaching Assistant, Care Work, Youth Work, or Sports Coaching
Counselling, Mentoring, or Social Care
Supporting children or adults with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or learning disabilities
What We’re Looking For:
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for inclusive education and child development
Relevant qualifications (e.g. childcare, psychology, education) are a bonus but not essential
