We are looking for a compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to work within specialist SEND settings in Deeside. This role may also include support within SEND units in mainstream schools or on a one-to-one basis, making a positive impact on pupils with various needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualised support to pupils with moderate to complex learning needs.
Assist with classroom activities designed to promote academic and personal development.
Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of each pupil.
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities by promoting the welfare of children and young people, and ensuring all actions align with school policies on child protection and safety.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in an SEND setting is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills and a patient, supportive approach.
Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and caregivers.
