TalentBoard is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a position in a Wirral-based school.

To be considered for this role, the school requires you to have:

• An in-depth understanding of Early Years development

• Experience supporting children who can exhibit challenging behaviour

• Experience working with children with severe Autism

• Experience supporting pre-verbal children

• A willingness to assist children with personal care

This role is challenging and requires someone with resilience and a deep understanding of the complex needs mentioned above. While prior experience in a school setting (mainstream or specialist SEND) is preferred, we are open to applicants who have gained the relevant experience and knowledge through other roles including, but not exclusive to Support Worker positions.

The successful applicant will uphold safeguarding responsibilities by promoting the welfare of children and young people, and ensuring all actions align with school policies on child protection and safety.
