TalentBoard is currently recruiting Learning Mentors to work in schools across Ellesmere Port and the wider Wirral area.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored, one-to-one or small group support to students facing academic, emotional, or behavioural challenges.
Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement strategies that improve student engagement and outcomes.
Support the creation and monitoring of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised action plans.
Help students build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.
Act as a positive role model and trusted adult for students who may be at risk of disengagement.
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities by promoting the welfare of children and young people, and ensuring all actions align with school policies on child protection and safety.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with young people in education, mentoring, youth work, or counselling roles.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A calm, empathetic, and supportive approach to behaviour and emotional needs.
Relevant qualifications or training in education, youth work, or mentoring (desirable but not essential).
A genuine commitment to supporting students with SEND and additional needs.
